don’t assume the worst
Quran: “Most of them follow nothing but assumption. Surely, assumption is of no use against the truth.” (Yunus: 36) Quran: “O believers, avoid much suspicion. Indeed, some suspicions are sins.” (Al-Hujurat: 12)
Bad thoughts make the heart heavy. They make you see darkness even when light is there. When you think badly of others, you slowly distance yourself from Allah’s mercy.
Choose to think good. It brings more light, more love, and more Allah into your heart.
