don’t get too busy with the world
Allah says: “Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter?” (At-Taubah: 38)
And: “Those who do not expect to meet Us, and are pleased with the life of this world, and feel safe in it, they are the ones who ignore Our signs” (Yunus: 7)
And: “They were content to stay behind, and their hearts were sealed, so they did not understand” (At-Taubah: 87)
Being busy only with this world makes the heart closed. When we think we are someone, we chase status and recognition here. But when we feel we are no one, we stop caring about pride and position. That frees the heart, so we can connect to Allah with ease.
