don’t hate what pleases Allah
Allah says: “That is because they followed what angered Allah and hated what pleased Him, so He made their deeds worthless” (Muhammad: 28).
Also: “They did not spend in the way of Allah except unwillingly” (At-Taubah: 54).
And: “They did not like to strive with their wealth and lives in the path of Allah” (At-Taubah: 81).
When we feel we are someone, we hold back. But if we see ourselves as no one, it becomes easier to let go and do what pleases Allah.
