Feeling Enough
Qana'ah means feeling enough.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ once prayed, “Ya Allah, give my family qana'ah.” That means he asked Allah to make his family feel content and satisfied with whatever they had.
Then he also said: "Whoever becomes Muslim, gets enough to live on, and feels happy with what Allah gave them — that person is truly lucky."
So, it’s not about having a lot. It’s about being able to say: "This is enough. I’m okay. I’m grateful."
That’s qana'ah. A deep kind of peace.
