Grow your hope in Allah
Allah says: “tell My servants who have wronged themselves, do not give up on Allah’s mercy. Allah forgives all sins. truly, He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.” (Az-Zumar: 53)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “if a disbeliever knew what kind of mercy is with Allah, he would not give up hope in it.” (HR. Muslim 2755 from Abu Hurairah)
making your hope bigger is a way to think good of Allah and to stay away from despair.
