Prayers for our spouse and children
This part is about beautiful prayers from the Quran for our spouse and children, not just for their presence, but for the kind of people they become.
One prayer says: "Ya Allah, give us comfort and joy through our wife and children. Make us role models for people who live with taqwa." (Al-Furqan: 74)
Taqwa means living with deep awareness of God.
Another prayer says: "Ya Allah, give me a good child. You hear all prayers." (Ali Imran: 38)
"Make this child someone You are pleased with." (Maryam: 6)
"Protect this child and their future children from the devil." (Ali Imran: 36)
These prayers teach us to not just ask for children but to ask for children who grow up kind, guided, and strong. And to ask Allah to help us become the kind of people they can look up to.
