Thinking about the good of obeying and the harm of sin
When we think about the sky and the earth, it shows the greatness of the Creator. That leads us to respect Him more and want to obey.
Thinking about how good obedience is can push us to act on it. Thinking about the bad side of sin helps us stay away from it.
When the soul sees how good obedience is, it starts to want it. That desire gives us energy to chase after it. That energy helps us do it. And by doing it, we get Allah’s approval.
At the same time, thinking about the bad of sin and its punishment makes our soul hate it. That makes us avoid it.
